Which launch kit should I pick?
Counter Starter ($599 one-time setup) fits most shops: one SUNMI V3 terminal with BitPay Quick Checkout at your counter. Dealer / High-Ticket ($999 one-time setup) is for car, powersports and other big-ticket sellers: everything in Counter Starter plus a Samsung Galaxy tablet as a second customer-facing screen, Tier 3 application support, desk-manager and F&I training, a written crypto deal SOP and a quarterly check-in.
Can I use my own device?
Yes. If you already have a compatible device, we set it up at the same kit price. There's no discount for bringing your own device.
Do I need the Support Plan?
No, it's optional. The Support Plan is $39/month with Counter Starter or $79/month with Dealer, and covers our help line, training for new staff and help with reconciliation.
What if the processor doesn't approve my business?
Approval is up to BitPay, and we can't guarantee it. Devices ship only after processor approval.
What fees will I pay?
Your one-time launch kit, any add-ons, the optional Support Plan, and BitPay's per-transaction fee (2% + $0.25). TapCrypto takes no cut of your sales.
Do you ever hold my money?
No. Payments settle from your customer to you through BitPay. TapCrypto never holds, touches, or has access to your funds.
How much is the website add-on?
From $300, quoted per project. TapCrypto owns the site and licenses it to you for your business.
Do I need to understand crypto?
No. If you can run a card reader, you can do this. We train you and your staff.
